Canada Mongolia Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with Aligali.co, is organizing a Mongolian Art Exhibition on September 25th at Artist Resource Centre of Toronto and September 26th at the East Asian Library of University of Toronto. This exhibition will feature paintings and calligraphy artwork by acclaimed Mongolian artists L.Amarsanaa, O.Enkhtaivan and T.Gantulga as well as custom-drawn calligraphy writings which will be available for purchase. Adventurist/author J.Zolbayar (aka Amai - http://www.amai.mn/) will speak on September 26th at University of Toronto along with UofT's very own, Prof. Jennifer Purtle, who will be giving us insights into Contemporary Mongolian Art. On September 25th, the event will be held from 5pm to 9pm at Artist Resource Centre (263 Adelaide St. West, Suite 409) and will be an introductory launch event for Canada Mongolia Chamber of Commerce, featuring a brief presentation of current and future projects, live calligraphy demonstration and complimentary wine and cheese. On September 26th, the event will take place from 2pm to 5pm at Robarts Library (130 St. George Street, 8th Floor) of University of Toronto and will feature lectures by Prof. Jennifer Purtle of the East Asian Department, as well as acclaimed adventurist/author Amai along with complimentary Mongolian snacks, a live calligraphy demonstration by the visiting artists and other exciting surprises!! The exhibition will be available for public display from 11am to 6pm at the East Asian Library on both September 25th and 26th.
