Canada–Mongolia Chamber of Commerce Pushes New Momentum in Bilateral Trade and Partnership

The Canada–Mongolia Chamber of Commerce met with the Embassy of Canada on 6 November to reaffirm a shared commitment to expanding bilateral trade. Ambassador Stephen Doust outlined Canada’s drive to diversify exports and deepen ties with Mongolia, while CMCC leaders highlighted ongoing outreach to Canadian firms and priority sectors.

​Both sides discussed opportunities in mining, agriculture, IT, AI, and cybersecurity, and agreed to explore joint initiatives, including a Canada-Mongolia Business Forum and a February 2026 event on cybersecurity and agriculture. CMCC will also pursue Indo-Pacific Strategy funding to support future programming. The meeting underscored growing momentum to strengthen Canada’s presence and partnership in Mongolia.
